The objective of this tutorial is to help you understand how to create scheduled breaks for your staff members within each created shift.
(Optional) Scheduled shift breaks keep your staff members organized and makes it easy for managers to make sure that their employees are not all taking breaks at the same time.
Things to know before you begin:
- You must have a manager/admin, supervisor and scheduler access privileges to create schedule shift breaks.
- You can navigate the schedule to different dates by clicking the arrows found at top mid of the app.
- This is not directly connected to the time clock module. Therefore, ask your employees to clock in and out of breaks using time clock module to make sure your employees are taking breaks according to the scheduled shift breaks.
- Schedule breaks won't be deducted/effective and shown under Payroll.
