The objective of this tutorial is to search the desired shifts under schedule view quickly using ‘Schedule Search’ bar.
'Schedule Search' is available to search shifts quickly with the help of different search parameters which allows you to view the desired schedule.
Things to know before you begin:
- You can navigate the schedule to different dates by clicking the arrows found at top mid of the app.
- You can navigate the schedule to different views with help of the icons listed on the right-hand side.
- You must have a manager/admin or supervisor access privileges in Humanity to view all the filters under the schedule view filter panel.
The scenario outlined in this tutorial consists of the following building blocks:
Filtering by ‘Schedule Search’
Step 1: Click ‘ShiftPlanning’ tab from the top panel as shown in Image 1.
Step 2: Type words according to search parameters to view your desired schedule by narrowing it down in the schedule search bar as shown in Image 2.
Step 3: Press the ‘Enter’ button on the keyboard to narrow it.
Through ‘Search Parameters’ you will be able to know the details which you can type and use to search and narrow down particular kind of shift(s) and making a desirable view.
Search by Employee:
Type the employee name (First Name, Last Name or Full Mame) and the schedule will show all the shifts of that employee in the timeline: If the employee you are searching for has Shifts shared with other members; shifts for all those members will be shown with shared ones highlighted in bold.
Search by Position:
All employees and their shifts assigned to that Position will pop up. If you have a position with similar names, shift for all the similar positions will be shown on ShiftPlanning.
Search by Shift Details:
ShiftPlanning can be searched by all shift parameters e.g. shift times, shift titles, notes, etc. You can dismiss your search by clicking on ‘X’ sign in schedule search bar as shown in Image 3.
