Settings for Work Units

Objective

The objective of this tutorial is to show you various settings for work units and how to enable those features.

Overview

If you want to enable work units module, let employees add work units or work units to get auto-approved, learn how to set all these features

Things to know before you begin:

You must have a manager/admin access privileges in Humanity to enable the settings for work units features.

Settings for Work Units

Step 1: Click on the ‘Settings’ Module i.e. the gear icon at the top right as shown in Image 1.

Step 2: Click ‘ShiftPlanning’ tab from the left panel as shown in Image 2.

Step 3: Click ‘Advanced Settings’ tab from top left as shown in Image

Enabling ‘Work Units Module’

Check the box next to ‘Enable work units module’ as shown in Image 4.

Let Your Staff Add Work Units

Check the box next to ‘Enable employees to add Work Units’ as shown in Image 5.

Auto-approve Work Units

 

  1. For Scheduler: Check the box next to ‘Work Units submitted by scheduler are auto-approved’ as shown in Image 6.

  1. For Employees: Check the box next to ‘Work Units submitted by an employee are auto-approved’ as shown in Image 7.

Give Access To Their Own Work Units Report

Check the box next to ‘Employees can see own Work Units Report’ as shown in Image 8.
