Troubleshooting for Adding OnCall Staff to a Shift

Objective

The objective of this tutorial is to show you how you can resolve the possible issues you could face with on-call functionality.

Overview

If you are having trouble with adding on-call staff to either a new shift or existing shift, follow the steps in this article to troubleshoot and resolve the issue.

Things to know before you begin:

  1. You must have a manager or admin access privileges to perform some troubleshooting steps in this article.
  2. If you have a Supervisor or Scheduler level access, you’ll have to ask for help from your Manager when you get to those steps.

“Not able to view phone icon”

Possible Cause: Related settings are disabled by Manager under Settings Module > ShiftPlanning tab > Frequently Used > OnCall Management

Solution: Ask your Manager to enable the settings as shown in Image 1 to place employee(s) on-call and view the phone icon.
