Access from your: Computer
Applies to: Admins, Managers, Supervisors, and Schedulers
Manager Forecast quickly parses through your organization’s multiple future demand drivers such as sales, business hours, and budget. To use it, simply import the data associated with demand in an Excel or CSV file.
Things to know before you begin:
This feature is a part of the AI Scheduling paid add-on for Humanity Scheduling.
AI Scheduling is not available on the legacy ShiftPlanning module.
To access this feature, it needs to be previously enabled in the Team Tools Setting by Humanity's Support.
You must have Admin, Manager Supervisor, or Scheduler access privileges to access any AI Scheduling feature.
Future demand data has to be imported for the period in which you would like to review staffing requirements and create schedules.
Note: You do not need to import demand data if you are using data integration.
This tutorial covers the following aspects of running a Manager Forecast:
Edit Future (forecasted) Demand Data
Format of Future Demand Data
The demand data file needs to have two columns, with Period and Value headers:
The Period column should contain a date and time for respective demand data (for the hour or 15-minute increments)
The Value column should contain integer or non-integer values with up to 2 decimal places, equal to or larger than zero
The file needs to contain all time increments within the business period you are importing for, even if the value cells are left blank
The value zero will be assigned to all blank value cells
See an example of the demand data file in Image 1.
