Pre-Clock In

Marking yourself on the way.

The objective of this tutorial is to help you understand how to mark yourself on way before you Clock In for your shift.


Access from your: watchOS device
Applies to: Admin/Managers, Supervisors, Schedulers and Employees

Pre-clock in allows you to show that you are on your way before clocking in. Once your click "I'm on my way" button, time that "You are on your way for" will show above the "Clock in" button.

Things to know before you begin:

  1. To use the Humanity Apple Watch app, you need to have Humanity iOS app version (3.3) or later installed.

  2. To use the app, you also need to be logged into the Humanity app on your iOS mobile device that is connected with the watch.

  3. Your iOS device needs to be running on the iOS14 OS version or later.

  4. Your Apple Watch needs to be running on watchOS 7 version or later.

  5. "Time Clock" module must be enabled from the "Settings" module.

  6. "Enable Pre-Clock In" option must be enabled by the Manager under "Settings" module.

Pre Clock In on your Apple Watch

Step 1: When “Enable pre-clock in option” is ON, you will have the “I’m on my way” button offered above the "Clock in" button on the applications home screen. To Pre-Clock In tap on “I’m on my way” button, as shown in image 1.

Step 2: Time that you are on your way to work since the Pre-Clock In will be displayed on the top of the screen before you Clock In, as shown in image 2.

Note: If "Pre-clock in is required before clock in" is enabled under "Settings" then it is mandatory to click on "I'm on my way" button before Clocking in.
