Language Selection for Mobile Apps

Objective

Learn how you can select your preferred language on your Humanity mobile app.

Overview

  • The Humanity mobile application is available in English by default. With the release of the 3.0 version, users can change the language of the app to Français (Canada).

  • The language chosen on the mobile app will be reflected on the user’s web account as well. As for the language selection on the web app, it will be reflected on the user’s mobile account in the following way:

a. If the default language is set to English (US) or French (Canadian), or the user has selected one of these two languages by themselves, the same language preference will be applied to the user’s mobile app.

b. If the default language is set to any other language other than English (US) or French (Canadian), or the user has selected any other language by themselves, the user’s mobile app will remain in English (US).

Language selection will be applied to all app modules (except the Training module on the iOS app) and in-app actions with the exception of app notifications (email, SMS, push), conflicts, and error messages, which will remain in English (US).

The scenario outlined in this tutorial consists of the following building blocks:

Language Selection – Activation Screen

Step 1: Go to your email inbox and find the activation email from Humanity > Tap on ‘Activate your Humanity account.’

Step 2: On ‘Welcome to Humanity’ page, click on the language option, that is, ‘English (US).’ You’ll see the list of available languages.

Step 3: Tap on your preferred language to select it.

Step 4: Complete the registration by entering your password to access the Humanity mobile app in your preferred language.

Step 1: Tap on the “globe” icon at the top-right corner of the login page.

Step 2: Select your preferred language by tapping on it.

Step 3: You will be redirected to the login page again. Enter your username and password information to access the app in your preferred language.

Step 1: Tap on More > Settings and select Language.

Step 2: Select your preferred language by tapping on it.

Step 3: The app will reload to the version in your preferred language.
