Objective
With the latest update of the Humanity mobile app (version 2.9), you can add widget to your Home screen on your Android device.
Overview
The widget is available starting from the 2.9 Humanity app version.
The widget comes in one size – you can adjust the widget size on your Home screen.
The widget will automatically load in Light or Dark theme depending on the selected device theme setting.
The widget show details for shifts scheduled in the next 7 days.

How to Set Up a Widget
Step 1: Long press on the Home Screen to access the setup menu > Select Widgets.
Step 2: Scroll and select the Humanity widget > Place the widget on the screen.
Step 3: Once the widget is placed, long press anywhere on the widget to re-size it.
Step 4: Tap on the blank space of the screen to save changes.
How to Use Widget Shortcuts
The Humanity widget features shortcuts that you can use to quickly access the most frequently used Humanity modules:
ShiftPlanning module: Tap on the "ShiftPlanning" icon over the widget to access ShiftPlanning and your shift details.
Messages module: Tap on the "chat" icon to access your inbox and messages.
Leave module: Tap on the "airplane" icon to access the Leave module.
Availability module: Tap on the "calendar with a checkmark" icon to access the Availability module.
Widget Display
Regardless of the size, the widget shows up to 3 upcoming shifts scheduled in the next 7 days.
You can see the following shift information: date & time, Position, Location, Tags (if available), label for Next Shift.
You can use the widget to access the most frequently used modules directly: ShiftPlanning, Messages, Leave, and Availability.
