You can customize colors of the positions added in Humanity to make identification of positions visually easier through color-coding.
You can also manage which position to have visibility under Shiftplanning and which to hide and not appear in your schedule as per the business requirements.
Things to know before you begin:
- You must have managers/admin access privileges to customize the colors of the positions.
- You must have a manager or admin access privileges to customize and manage notifications for a specific position.
- Positions must be added before customizing the colors.
The scenario outlined in this tutorial consists of the following building blocks:
- Manage Visibility of a Position
- Customize Colors of Positions
Manage Visibility of a Position
Step 1: Go to Staff module and click on Locations & Positions, as shown in Image 1.
Step 2: Check/Uncheck the box next to Visible to hide or show the position under ShiftPlanning module, as shown in Image 2.
Note: The impact of this feature can be seen in ShiftPlanning module where unchecking the box next to the Visible tab of a position would make it invisible in the schedule view, as shown in Image 3.
Customize Colors of Positions
Step 1: Under Staff > Locations & Positions > Click on the color beside the position name and select a color from the given options as shown in Image 4.
Note: The color of the position has been updated and the impact can be seen under ShiftPlanning module reflecting the shifts according to the assigned colors, as shown in Image 5.
