The objective of this tutorial is to help you understand how to create an open slot shift using an Android device.

Access from your: Android device Applies to: Admin/Managers, Supervisors and Schedulers

Create an open slot shift which will allow your staff to self-schedule themselves until the available slots are filled.

You can navigate the schedule for different dates by clicking the arrows found at top mid of the app.

You can use the filters to set the filters and narrow down the view of the shifts.

Open slots are filled on a first come, first serve basis by your staff once published.

Step 1: Upon creating a new shift under ShiftPlanning module, tap Open Slots tab &gt; Select the number of employees you would like to schedule for the shift, as shown in Image 1.

Note: Define the advanced parameters (optional), as shown in Image 2.

Step 2: Tap Publish tab options to publish the shift for employees to pick them up, as shown in Image 3.
