A recurring shift can be updated/modified anytime later when a change is required. You can change start/end time and date, position, notes, title, breaks or employee assignment and a lot more.
Things to know before you begin:
- You can navigate the schedule to different dates by clicking the arrows found at top mid of the app.
- You can use the filters to set the filters and narrow down the view of the shifts.
- You cannot update the repeating series while editing the recurring shift.
Update a Recurring Shift
Step 1: Tap the 'ShiftPlanning' tab > Tap on the shift > Tap 'Edit' tab as shown in Image 1.
Step 2: Edit the defined parameters to modify them > Tap 'Save' tab as shown in Image 2.
After saving the modifications you can select the way you want to update the shift as shown in Image 3 with the following options:
- Only this one
- All future shifts
- All shifts in series
Step 3: Tap 'Publish' tab > Select the 'Publish Shift Options' > Use the toggle button if you want to resend acknowledgement requests > Tap 'Publish & Notify' tab as shown in Image 4.
Note: The assigned employee won’t be able to see the shift or be notified until you ‘Publish’ the shift.
That’s it a recurring shift is updated!
