The objective of this tutorial is to help you understand how to sync your 'Apple Calendar' with Humanity and make all shifts assigned to you in our app visible on your personal calendar as well.

Humanity provides convenient iCal sync URLs which allow you to easily sync your Humanity schedule(s) alongside your other events in applications like iCal, Google Calendar or Apple Calendar on your mobile devices.

As an alternative to Apple Calendar, you can also 'Sync Schedule with Google Calendar' or with an app on your mobile device (either Android or iOS).

Step 1: Click the 'ShiftPlanning' module > Click the 'arrow' icon tab > Click 'Schedule Sync' tab as shown in Image 1.

Step 2: After clicking on the 'Schedule Sync' tab, you’ll make small RSS feed icons pop-up next to all the schedules under the 'Filter' section > Click on the 'RSS icon' i.e. the orange icon next to the one which you want to sync your calendar with as shown in Image 2.

Step 3: Once you’ve clicked on a specific RSS icon, Humanity will generate the Sync URL needed to complete the syncing process, Copy the link > Click 'OK' tab as shown in Image 3.

Step 4: Now that you have the Sync URL, open 'Apple Calendar' > Click 'File' tab once the app is launched > Select 'New Calendar Subscription' tab from the drop-down as shown in Image 4.

Step 5: The app will ask you to provide the Calendar URL, so paste the one you copied from Humanity in Step 3 > Click 'Subscribe' tab as shown in Image 5.

Step 6: A window with several settings will appear, so tweak them according to your preference > Specify how often Apple Calendar should re-fetch data from Humanity to keep the schedule up to date > Click 'OK' tab once you’re done with the options as shown in Image 6.

That's it! You've now successfully completed the syncing process, so all upcoming shifts in Humanity will be reflected on your Apple Calendar.
