Calendar Sync For iOS

The objective of this tutorial is to help you understand how to sync your shift schedule with the Apple Calendar on an iPhone or iPad device.


Access from your: iOS device
Applies to: Admin/Managers, Supervisors, Schedulers and Employees

As an easy and quick way to import schedules into the iPhone calendar, this syncing feature provides you with a direct overview of all your upcoming shifts. 

Things to know before you begin:

  1. You must have humanity application downloaded and the application requires iOS 11.0 or later and it is compatible with iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.

  2. Only published shifts will be visible in your work schedule.

  3. Please note that it may take some time for the latest shift changes to appear in your Apple Calendar. This, however, should never take more than 24 hours.

Calendar Sync

Step 1: Tap 'More' tab > Click the 'Settings' module shown in Image 1.

Step 2: Tap 'Calendar Sync' tab > Tap 'My Schedule' tab > Tap 'Subscribe' tab > Tap 'Done' tab to complete the process as shown in Image 2.

Note: You can also sync specific position calendar by tapping on 'Specific Position' Option.

That’s it! Your work schedule is now synced to your apple calendar and your published shifts are visible.

View and Manage Work Schedule In Apple Calendar

Step 1: Go to the 'Calendar' application > Tap and View the Published Shifts as shown in Image 3.

Manage the work schedule visibility setting after you've completed the syncing process:

Step 2: Select the 'Calendars' tab from the bottom > Enable the option next to 'Work Schedule' tab > Tap 'Done' tab to complete the process as shown in Image 4.

If you receive the prompt displayed as shown in Image 5 after clicking on 'My Schedule' tab in step 2,  it means that the calendar sync for your work schedule has already been performed therefore If the shifts are not showing up after the syncing process, check the calendar list and work schedule calendar visibility.
