The objective of this tutorial is to help you understand how you can troubleshoot to resolve if you have set limit on maximum number of staff to book leaves at once under each leave type but it's still not working.

If you have set limit on maximum number of staff to book leaves at once under each leave type but it's still not working, follow the steps in this article to troubleshoot and resolve the issues.

Things to know before you begin:

  1. You must have a manager/admin access privileges to perform troubleshooting steps in this article.
  2. If you have a Supervisor, Scheduler or an Employee level access, you’ll have to ask for help from your Manager when you get to those steps.

Possible cause: Related setting "Max number of staff that can be booked off at once" is set with a number under leave global/main settings.

Solution: Set the global leave setting as 'Unlimited' under 'Settings' module from 'Leave & Availability' section.

Managers must set the setting to 'Unlimited' next to option. Follow instructions in the article: 'Leave Settings.'

Note: Once you have set the global setting to unlimited, the number of staff that is set under each leave type will be applied.
