Objective

The objective of this tutorial is to help you understand how to report/ track actions or events that take place by seeing who did what and when.

Overview

Access from your: Computer
Applies to: Managers

Every time an action occurs within the Humanity application, the app tracks it as a unique event and compiles this information under the ‘Event Log’ section.

This feature can be used to verify events for record keeping or troubleshooting past events by seeing who did what and when. Managers can use this as a centralized log service to report and track actions or events that have taken places.

Things to know before you begin:

You must have a manager/admin access privileges in Humanity to report/ track actions or events that take place by seeing who did what and when.

Notes:

  1. You may use the filters from top, you can sort the 'Event Log' by 'Date', 'Staff' or 'Group events'. The events are sorted by day and include the user details, the time, the event and additional details.

  2. In front of some of the events you'll see two icons that signify:

Admin Event: Events that were done on behalf of a user. Mouse-over for to find out who the admin was.

External Event: Events that didn't happen on www.humanity.com, typically this means that it happened from a mobile platform or our Data API. Mouse-over for more details.
