Objective

The objective of this tutorial is to help you understand how to select one or multiple time intervals to turn on the notifications for yourself or your schedulers if the employees assigned on the shifts are late or have forgotten to clock out.

If you want your scheduler or yourself to be notified if the employees assigned on the shifts may be late for the shift or your employee may have forgotten to clock out, learn how to enable the settings related to it.

Things to know before you begin:

  1. You must have a manager/admin access privileges in Humanity to customize time clock notification settings.
  2. Time Clock module must be enabled' is a pre-requisite setting to view all the related settings of time clock.
  3. Profile notifications settings will overwrite the settings under ‘Settings’ module.
  4. The mobile number or email should be confirmed in order to receive the notifications.
  5. Schedulers will receive the notifications only for the position they have access given by the manager.

Time Clock Notifications Settings

Step 1: Click on the ‘Settings’ Module i.e. the gear icon at the top-right > Click 'Time Clock' tab from the left-hand side > Click 'Advanced Settings' tab from the top as shown in Image 1.

Step 2: Select the options next to your desired setting from the drop-down under 'Time Clock Notifications' section > Click 'Save Settings' tab as shown in Image 2.

List of options for ‘Time Clock Notifications’:

  1. "Employee late for work" reminder for schedulers: Select one or multiple time intervals when schedulers will receive email/SMS notifications when an employee is late for his shift.
  2. "Employee late for work" reminder for managers: Select one or multiple time intervals when managers and supervisors will receive email/SMS notifications when an employee is late for his shift.
  3. "Employee has not clocked out of finished shift" reminder for schedulers: Select one or multiple time intervals when schedulers will receive email/SMS notifications when an employee doesn’t clock out of the finished shift.
  4. "Employee has not clocked out of finished shift" reminder for managers:  Select one or multiple time intervals when managers will receive email/SMS notifications when an employee doesn’t clock out of the finished shift.
