The objective of this tutorial is to help you understand how to assign or remove one or more than one skill or position to multiple employees at once.

Applies to: Managers/Admin and Supervisors
Employees must be assigned to the appropriate Locations and Positions before you can schedule them on the shifts. In order to schedule your staff, they must be assigned to at least one position.
Skills define any special abilities your employees have. This can include things such as CPR Certification, Second Languages, etc. You can assign one or more than one skill to multiple employees (s) at once.
Employee Assignment is a quicker way to assign the required skills or positions to the list of employees at once.
Things to know before you begin:
- You must have a manager/admin and supervisor access privileges to assign or remove one or multiple skills or positions to one or more employees at once.
- Positions must be added under Locations and Positions tab first by your Managers to assign them to your staff.
- Skills must be added under the ‘Manage Skills’ tab first by your Managers or Supervisors to assign them to your staff.
- You can add skills expiration from staff’s profile.
Assign or Remove Skills/Positions in Bulk
Step 1: Go to Staff module from the top-panel and click the Drop-down icon next to Add Employee tab from the top right > Click on Employee Assignment, as shown in Image 1.
Step 2: List of options for Bulk Assignment is available on the right-hand side to pick up the required option, as shown in image 2.
Step 3: Check/Uncheck the boxes for Positions and Skills next to the employee name(s) according to your business requirement, as shown in Image 3.
Note: You can also Assign by Position or Assign by Skills, as shown in Image 4.
