Objective

The objective of this tutorial is to help you understand how to set or reset a password for your staff or yourself as an employee.

Overview

Access from your: Computer
Applies to: Managers, Supervisors, Schedulers and Employees

Set passwords for your profile or for your staff. You can also reset a password for your profile if needed.

Things to know before you begin:

  1. You must have a manager/admin access privileges to set or update a password for your staff.
  2. Managers can update their employees' password without providing the current password.
  3. 'Supervisor' cannot change the password of an 'Administrator' including users with 'Manager' access.
  4. Schedulers can only set the passwords of the staff according to the access given by a Manager.

The scenario outlined in this tutorial consists of the following building blocks:

  1. Set a Password For Your Profile or Staff
  2. Reset a Password For Your Profile

Set a Password For Your Profile or Staff

Step 1: Click ‘Staff’ module from the top-panel as shown in Image 1.

Step 2: Click on your name to go to your profile or on the name of the ‘Staff’ you want to set the password for as shown in Image 2.

Note: You can click on the ‘arrow’ icon and go to your profile by clicking the ‘Profile’ tab as shown in Image 3.

Step 3: Click the ‘Password’ tab to set your password as shown in Image 4.

Step 4: Add ‘New Password’ and ‘Confirm Password’ in their respective tabs as shown in Image 5.

Step 5: Click ‘Update Password’ tab as shown in Image 6.

Reset a Password For Your Profile

Step 1: Click on your name to go to your profile as shown in Image 7.

Note: You can click on the ‘arrow’ icon and go to your profile by clicking the ‘Profile’ tab as shown in Image 8.

Step 2: Click the ‘Password’ tab to reset your password as shown in Image 9.

Step 3: Add ‘Current Password’, ‘New Password’ and ‘Confirm Password’ to reset a password as shown in Image 10.

Step 4: Click ‘Update Password’ tab as shown in Image 11.
