This article provides instructions for the enabling and use of Push Notifications.

Push notifications are available on Humanity Mobile applications for Android and iOS. Using them is the best way to stay up to date with notifications about published schedules, upcoming shits, leave requests and new in-app messages.

Things to know before you begin:

  1. To receive push notifications, they have to be enabled in the company settings.
  2. Push notifications have to be enabled on in your personal Notification Settings.
  3. Push notifications have to be enabled on your mobile device (iPhone).

Controlling which notifications you receive

How can I control which notifications I receive? 

Tap More -> Settings -> Notifications -> Select preference for each notification

How do I  enable push notifications in the Humanity mobile app? 


Notifications will be automatically enabled. 


Next time you open your app, you will get a request to allow the application to send you push notifications - you need to allow it. 

Accessing in-app notifications 

Where can I find information about notifications?

That is the notification center (bell icon). Tapping it will show your history of push notifications.

How will notifications appear on my mobile devices?

They will be shown as regular notifications from your other applications.


I’m not receiving push notifications on my phone?

Double-check if push notifications are enabled in your personal settings. Even if they are, to be sure, uncheck the option, save settings, then check again and save.

Additional information for iOS users

Make sure that push notifications are enabled, as well as Background App Refresh.

Are there any differences between Android and iOS apps regarding push notifications?

Apart from different permission settings (on iOS you must explicitly allow receiving push notifications) and the position of the bell icon on the Dashboard, users should receive the same notifications on both platforms.
