There are various ways that you can create shifts on your schedule, however, this article explains the difference between an open shift and an empty shift while creating a shift.

Things to know before you begin:

  1. You must have a manager/admin, supervisor and scheduler access privileges to create an open shift or an empty shift.

  2. Scheduler(s) will only have access to manage the positions manager has assigned him/her.
