There are two ways to view the confirmed/actual hours worked by employees:

  1. Confirmed Hours

  2. Confirmed Time Sheets

Things to know before you begin:

  1. You must have a manager/admin, supervisor or scheduler access privileges to view the actual hours an employee has worked.

  2. Schedulers can view the actual hours only for the position they have access given by the manager.

  3. Timeclock Module must be enabled, staff members should have complete access to use the clock in/out feature.

  4. Scheduled hours are changed into confirmed hours using shift approval feature.

The scenario outlined in this tutorial consists of the following building blocks:

  1. Confirmed Hours

  2. Confirmed Time Sheets

  3. Difference Between Confirmed Hours and Time Sheets

Confirmed Hours

Once the working hours of the shifts are approved, scheduled hours become confirmed hours.

Notes:

  1. Confirmed hours are an alternate of clocked hours if you are not using the ‘Time Clock’ module.

  2. Scheduled hours get approved using the shift approval feature and are change into confirmed hours.

Confirmed Time Sheets

Once an employee clock in/out, the time gets recorded under time sheets. When the time sheets are approved, these hours will reflect under confirmed time sheets.
