Objective

The objective of this tutorial is to help you understand how to create, print and save a ‘Custom’ Report.

Overview

Do not see the exact report that you're looking for? Why not create your own report!

In our ‘Custom Reports’ tab, you can get the data you need, in the format you prefer, so you can make everyday decisions for your business. Our custom reports further your ability to do just that.

You can choose the type of report and generate a custom report from the options below:

  1. Time Sheets
  2. Confirmed Time Sheets
  3. Shifts Scheduled
  4. Shifts Confirmed
  5. Open Shifts
  6. Shift Trades
  7. Hours Scheduled

Things to know before you begin:

  1. The manager must enable ‘Report Module’ settings to make it visible to the employees otherwise they won’t be able to view the module.
  2. The visibility of some option might vary according to the permission level in Humanity.

The scenario outlined in this tutorial consists of the following building blocks:

  1. Create a Custom Report
  2. Print a Custom Report
  3. Save a Custom Report
    Save a Custom Report in .CSV or xlsx
    Save a Custom Report in Humanity
  4. Delete a Custom Report in Humanity

Create a Custom Report

Step 1: Click ‘Reports’ module as shown in Image 1.

Step 2: Click ‘Custom Reports’ tab as shown in Image 2.

Step 3: Choose the filters to define the type of report as shown in Image 3.

Step 4: Click ‘Apply’ tab as shown in Image 4.

Step 5: Select columns to show in the report as shown in Image 5.

Note: You can also add a custom column by clicking ‘Add custom column’ as shown in Image 6.

That’s it, the report has been created.

However, after creating the custom report if you want to print or save the report, follow the steps below:

Print a Custom Report

Click ‘Print Report’ tab as shown in Image 7 to print the custom report.

Save a Custom Report

You can either save the report in the application or save it in .CSV/xlsx format.

Click ‘Save as .CSV’ or ‘Save as xlsx’ tabs as shown in Image 8.

Save a Custom Report in Humanity

Step 1: Click ‘Save’ tab from the top as shown in Image 9, it will show you a pop-up message.

Step 2: Enter the name you want to give this report as shown in Image 10.

Note: You will be able to view the report in the drop-down along with the name of the person who has created it as shown in Image 11.

Delete a Custom Report in Humanity

Click the ‘bin’ icon after selecting the report you wish to delete as shown in Image 12.
