The objective of this tutorial is to help you understand how to edit clocked hours under time sheets for yourself.
Access from your: Computer
Applies to: Employees
Editing timesheets allow you to make changes to your clocked hours and details related to it such as position, notes, break, tip and remote sites.
Things to know before you begin:
- You must have an employee access privileges to edit your time sheets.
- The manager must enable ‘Employees can edit time clocks’ settings to give access to their employees for editing time sheets.
The scenario outlined in this tutorial consists of the following building blocks:
- View your Timesheets
- Edit your Timesheets
View your Timesheets
Step 1: Click ‘Time Clock’ module as shown in Image 1.
Step 2: Click the ‘Overview' tab from the left-hand side time clock options panel as shown in Image 2.
Step 3: Select the timeline and approve/unapprove filter from the drop-down as shown in Image 3.
That’s it, you will be able to view your timesheets as shown in Image 4.
Edit your Timesheets
Step 1: Click ‘Time Clock’ module as shown in Image 5.
Step 2: Click the ‘Overview' tab from the left-hand side time clock options panel as shown in Image 6.
Step 3: By using the filters on top, set the ‘Timeline’, choose ‘Approved/Unapproved/All’ to pull up the desired data as shown in Image 7.
Step 4: Click on the pencil icon next to the timesheet you want to make a change in as shown in Image 8.
Step 5: Click the ‘Edit Mode’ as shown in Image 9.
Step 6: Make all the changes you want to as shown in Image 10.
Note: You will be able to make changes for “Clock in/out time, position, remote site, tips, break and notes.”
Step 7: Click Save & Close to save the changes as shown in Image 11.
That’s it, your timesheet will get updated according to all the changes you have made and pending for approval.
