The objective of this tutorial is to show you how to manage the staff tips and keep a record of the tips given to them during their working hours.
Manage Staff Tips

Applies to: Managers
Tip functionality is used mostly in the restaurant business or hotels. However, you can also use this as a workaround to keep the record for mileage for businesses like UBER, etc.
Things to know before you begin:
- You must have manager/admin access privileges in Humanity to enable the tips button settings for your employees.
- ‘Time Clock’ module must be enabled from the ‘Settings’ module.
The scenario outlined in this tutorial consists of the following building blocks:
- Enable Tips from Time Clock Settings
- Add and Manage Staff Tips
Enable Tips from Time Clock Settings
Once the Tips functionality is enabled under Settings module, your staff will see a dollar icon after they Clock In. Clicking the tips tab would allow staff to add the tip amount, as shown in Image 1.

The tips added by the staff are available and can be viewed under Confirmed Timesheet under Payroll module, as shown in Image 2.
