The objective of this tutorial is to show you how to manage the staff tips and keep a record of the tips given to them during their working hours.
Manage Staff Tips
Access from your: Computer
Applies to: Managers
Once the setting for ‘Tips’ is enabled under ‘Settings’ module, staff will see a dollar icon after they Clock In, clicking tips tab would allow staff to add the tip amount as shown in Image 1.
For more information about enabling the tips tab for your employees, go to ‘Settings to Enable Time Clock Tips Button.’
The detail of this amount is available in the confirmed timesheet under ‘Payroll’ module as shown in Image 2.
Things to know before you begin:
- You must have a manager/admin access privileges in Humanity to enable the tips button settings for your employees.
- ‘Time Clock’ module must be enabled from the ‘Settings’ module.
Tip functionality is used mostly in the restaurant business or hotels. However, you can also use this as a workaround to keep the record for mileage for businesses like UBER etc;
