Objective

The objective of this tutorial is to help you understand how to send a new message, view inbox and sent messages.

Overview

Access from your: Computer
Applies to: Managers, Supervisors, Schedulers and Employees.

Humanity offers its own messaging framework within the program, to improve employee and intra-business communication.

Things to know before you begin:

  1. The manager should enable the messaging module to make it available.

  2. The manager must enable the settings for employees to send private messages or reply to received messages.

  3. You can send a message to an individual, group or multiple groups/individuals at once.

The scenario outlined in this tutorial consists of the following building blocks:

  1. Send a New Message

  2. View Inbox or Sent Messages

Send a New Message

Step 1: Click the ‘Dashboard’ Module as shown in Image 1.

Step 2: Click ‘Message Inbox’ tab as shown in Image 2.

Step 3: Click ‘Send New Message’ as shown in Image 3.

Step 4: Check the box next to ‘Groups or Individuals’ as shown in Image 4. It will appear in the ‘To’ bar.

Step 5: Compose a customized message by adding a subject as shown in Image 5.

Note: You can utilize other functions as per your business requirements while creating the message as shown in Image 6.

Step 6: Click ‘Send Message’ as shown in Image 7.

That’s it, the message will be sent to the chosen staff members.

View Inbox or Sent Messages

Step 1: Click the ‘Dashboard’ Module as shown in Image 8.

Step 2: Click ‘Message Inbox’ tab as shown in Image 9.

Step 3: Click on the drop-down to select Inbox or Sent box as shown in Image 10, you will be able to view all the messages sent or receive according to your selection.

Note: You can further filter the messages into ‘Read or Unread‘ messages as shown in Image 11.

After sending the message, you will be able to view the message as shown in Image 12.
