Copy Schedule
Use copy schedule to create one past section of the schedule, whether a day, week, 2 weeks, 4 weeks or a month, to a future date.

Objective

The objective of this tutorial is to help you understand how to copy schedules.

Overview

Access from your: Computer
Applies to: Managers, Supervisors and Schedulers

Copies one past section of the schedule, whether a day, week, 2 weeks, 4 weeks or a month, to a future date. In essence, the past schedule can be used as a template to copy shifts into a future date which then can be adjusted as required.

There are two ways to copy shifts:

  1. Copy shift times only

  2. Copy shift times and employee assignments

Things to know before you begin:

  1. You must have a manager/admin, supervisor and scheduler access privileges to use copy schedule option from the drop-down.

  2. You can navigate the schedule to different dates by clicking the arrows found at top mid of the app.

  3. You can copy the schedule under different views and mode with the help of the icons listed on the top right and left-hand side.

Copy Schedule

Step 1: Click ‘ShiftPlanning’ tab from the top panel as shown in Image 1.

Note: Select the ‘Filter’ or ‘Advanced filters’ from the left-hand side according to your requirements.

Step 2: To copy the schedule, click ‘Copy Schedule’ option from the top right downward arrow icon as shown in Image 2.

Step 3: Choose the saved timeline as shown in Image 3.

Step 4: Select the timeline as shown in Image 4.

Step 5: You can either ‘Copy shift times only’ or ‘Copy shift times and employee assignments’ as shown in Image 5.

Step 6: Click ‘Copy Shifts’ as shown in Image 6.
