Troubleshooting SSO with Okta

Overview

If you’re having problems logging in using SSO with Okta, try the solutions listed below before you contact us.
 

'Invalid SAML Response Error'

If the SAML Issuer URL or X.509 certificate is not correctly set on Humanity side, an 'Invalid SAML response' message will pop up as shown in the image given below:
 

 

'User Not Found Error'

If Okta users whose don’t have a matching Humanity user account try to use just created Humanity application, they will get the error 'User not found' error as shown in the image below:

 

Solution

In this case, an Okta user with highlighted Okta User Name tried to log in via SSO to Humanity, but user profile with that email does not exist on Humanity side. In order to fix this, you need to create/edit a user profile to have an email that matches Okta User Name field.
