The objective of this tutorial is to show you how you can track your shift trade requests as Initiators to check the status or remove the trade request if you no longer want the trade to occur.
Access from your: Computer
Applies to: Managers, Supervisors, Schedulers and Employees
The initiator of the shift trade can see his or her requests on the Dashboard under “My Shift Trades.” It is still the initiator's responsibility to work for the scheduled shift if it has been rejected by the management or they haven’t reviewed or approved it.
Track Your Shift Trade Requests as an Initiator
Step 1: Click on the ‘Dashboard’ Module as shown in Image 1.
Step 2: Click on ‘My Shift Trades’ on the Dashboard Notification Panel as shown in Image 2.
Step 3: Under ‘My Requests’ tab you will be able to view the status as shown in Image 3.
Notes: Status could be in one of the following ways:
- Expired Status - no one reviewed the request and it has been expired.
- Awaiting Manager Approval - the decision is still pending by the management side.
- Accepted - it has been approved by the management.
