The objective of this tutorial is to help you understand how to edit the start and end time of an existing shift.
Overview
Access from your: Computer
Applies to: Managers, Supervisors, Schedulers
It is required to enter starting and ending time to create a shift, however, you can edit the start and end time of an existing shift if you wish to modify it later. You can also link start and end time to auto-adjust end time if you are changing the start time and vice versa.
If you unlink the start and end time, Humanity app won’t auto-adjust the time if you are changing one of it.
Things to know before you begin:
You must have a manager/admin, supervisor and scheduler access privileges to edit the start and end time of an existing shift.
You can navigate the schedule to different dates by clicking the arrows found at top mid of the app.

That's it, your shift time will change but to notify employees you will have to re-publish the shift again.
Note:
The assigned employee won’t be able to see the shift or be notified until you ‘Publish’ the shift individually or ‘Publish’ the schedule.
For more information about publishing the shift or schedule, go to ‘Publish Schedule.’
