Objective

The objective of this tutorial is to help you understand how to drag and drop a shift to copy and move.

Overview

Access from your: Computer
Applies to: Managers, Supervisors, Schedulers

Drag and drop a shift to copy and move them for creating the best schedule for your staff as this makes it much easier.

Things to know before you begin:

  1. You must have a manager/admin, supervisor and scheduler access privileges to drag and drop a shift to copy and move them.

  2. You can drag and drop a shift to copy and move them in employee and position view.

  3. You can drag the shift to any other positions corresponding cell - this will update the shift position.

  4. You can drag the employee to already created shifts which will add such member to that shift.

Drag and Drop a Shift to Copy and Move


Step 1:
Click ‘Shiftplanning tab from the top panel as shown in Image 1.

Step 2: Select ‘Schedule Overview’ from the filter panel as shown in Image 2.

Step 3: Click on any existing shift which you wish to copy/move to drag and drop as shown in Image 3.

However, to notify your employees of the changes to their shifts you will have to re-publish the shift again.
