The objective of this tutorial to show you how managers can block leave requests for specific dates.
Access from your: Computer
Applies to: Managers, Supervisors, Schedulers
Block leave requests for certain dates for which you want time off requests to be blocked.
Things to know before you begin
1. Managers, Supervisor and Schedulers are the only permission levels which can block leave requests.
2. This functionality is only available in Employee, Position and Visual View.
3. You may not be able to block in a Day Mode.
Block Leave Requests For Specific Dates
Step 1: Head over to the 'ShiftPlanning' module as shown in Image 1.
Step 2: Select 'Schedule Overview' from Filter Panel as shown in Image 2.
Step 3: Select the 'Basic and Timeline' view according to your requirements as shown in Image 3.
Step 4: Hover the mouse next to the particular date for which you want time off requests to be blocked and click the 'Notepad' icon as shown in Image 4.
Step 5: Once the note window has opened, simply check the 'Don’t Allow Time Off' checkbox as shown in Image 5.
