The objective of this tutorial to show you how managers can block leave requests for specific dates.

Being a part of management you are able to block certain dates for leave requests, which will stop the rest of staff from applying leaves against the selected day.
Things to know before you begin
Managers, Supervisors, and Schedulers are the only permission levels which can block days for leave requests.
Block Leave Requests For Specific Dates
Step 1: Head over to the ShiftPlanning module and select Schedule Overview from Filter Panel, as shown in Image 1.
Step 2: Hover the mouse next to the particular date for which you want time off requests to be blocked and click the Notepad icon, as shown in Image 2.
Step 3: Once the note window has opened, simply check the Don’t Allow Time Off checkbox, as shown in Image 3.
