Settings for Initiating Conflicts in Schedule

The objective of this tutorial is to show you how to set the settings for initiating conflicts in schedule automatically.


If you want to enable the conflicts to be initiated in schedule automatically and let your supervisors and schedulers have this feature, learn how to set it. Besides, Unavailability, Leave, overlapping shifts' conflicts - there are some other settings when violated, creates a conflict in the schedule: Profile Settings, as these always override the Global Settings under the Settings tab.

Things to know before you begin:

You must have a manager/admin access privileges in Humanity to enable/disable the settings for Initiating Conflicts in Schedule.

Settings for Initiating Conflicts in Schedule

Step 1: Click on the ‘Settings’ Module i.e. the gear icon at the top right as shown in Image 1.

Step 2: Click ‘ShiftPlanning’ tab from the left panel as shown in Image 2.

Step 3: Click ‘Advanced Settings’ tab from top left as shown in Image 3.

Step 4: Disable ‘Do not initiate automatic conflicts on schedule’ by un-checking the box as shown in Image 4.

Step 5: Click ‘Save Settings’ as shown in Image 5.
